Psalm 4

I Lift My Eyes (121)

`Answer me_ / when I call,

`God_ of my / righteousness.

`Give_ me relief from / my distress.

Have `mercy on me, and_ / hear my prayer.

You `children / of mankind,

how `long_ shall my honor be_ turned_ / into shame?

How `long_ will you / love vain words

`and seek / after lies?

Selah.

(Ref)

But `know_ that the LORD has set apart_ for himself his / faithful servant;

The `LORD will hear_ when I / call to him.

`Stand in awe, and / do not sin.

`Search your own heart on your bed_, / and be still.

Selah.

`Of_ fer the sacrifices of_ / righteousness.

`Put your trust_ / in the LORD.

`Many say_, “Who will show us / any good?”

`LORD_, let the light of your face / shine on us.

`You have put_ gladness / in my heart,

`more than when their grain and their new wine_ / a~ bound.

In `peace_ I will lay myself_ / down and sleep,

for `you alone_, LORD_, make me / live in safety.
