Psalm 25

I Lift My Eyes (121)

In `you_, LORD, I / put my trust.

My `God_, I have trusted / in~ you.

Do `not let me be / put to shame.

`Do not let my enemies_ triumph / over me. +

In `deed, no one who waits for you_ will be / put to shame.

`They will be shamed who deal treacherously / without cause.

`Show_ me your / ways~, LORD.

`Teach_ / me your paths.

`Guide me in your truth, and / teach~ me,

`for you are the God of / my salvation. • I `wait for you_ / all day long.

(Ref)

`LORD, remember your_ / tender mercies

`and your loving kindness, for they are_ / from of old.

Do `not remember the sins of my youth, nor / my transgressions.

Re `member me according to your / loving kindness, • • `for your goodness’ / sake~, LORD.

`Good and upright / is the LORD,

`therefore he will teach_ sinners / in the way.

`He will guide the humble / in~ justice.

`He will teach the humble / his~ way.

`All the paths_ of the LORD are loving kindness and_ / faithfulness

to `those who keep his covenant and / his decrees.

For `your name’s / sake~, LORD,

`pardon my iniquity, for / it is great.

(Ref)

`Who, then, is this one who / fears the LORD?

`He shall teach him in the way that / he should choose.

`He will dwell_ / in well-being.

His `offspring will inherit / the~ land.

The `friendship of the LORD_ is with those who / fear~ him.

`He will show_ them his / covenant.

My `eyes are ever / on the LORD,

for `he will pluck my feet out / of the net.

`Turn to me, and have_ mercy / on~ me,

for `I am desolate_ / and afflicted.

The `troubles of my heart_ / are enlarged.

Oh `bring me out of / my distresses.

(Ref)

Con `sider my affliction / and travail.

For `give_ / all my sins.

Con `sider my_ enemies, for / they are many.

They `hate me with_ / cruel hatred.

`Guard me, and de / liver me.

`Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge / in~ you.

`Let integrity and uprightness pre / serve~ me,

`for I / wait for you. +

O `God, redeem_ / Israel

`out of / all its troubles.
