`How I / love your law!

It `is my meditation / all~ day.

`Your commandments make me wiser than my / enemies,

for `your commandments are_ / always with me.

I `have more understanding than_ / all my teachers,

for `your decrees are my_ / meditation.

I `understand_ more_ / than the ag-ed,

be `cause_ I have / kept your precepts.

`that I might ob / serve your word.

I `have not turned away_ from your / just decrees,

`for_ you have / taught~ me.

How `sweet_ are your promises_ / to my taste,

`more than honey / to my mouth!

`Through your precepts, I get / understanding;

`therefore I hate ev’ry / false~ way.
