Psalm 103

The Heavens Declare (19)

`Bless the LORD_, / O my soul!

And `all that is within me, praise his / holy name!

`Bless the LORD_, / O my soul,

and `do not forget all his / benefits,

`who forgives_ / all your sins,

who `heals all / your diseases,

`who redeems your life_ / from destruction,

who `crowns you with_ loving kindness and_ / tender mercies, +

who `satisfies_ your desire_ / with good things,

so `that your youth_ is renewed_ / like the eagle’s.

(Ref)

The `LORD works / righteous acts,

and `justice for_ all who / are oppressed.

`He made known his / ways to Moses,

his `deeds_ to the children of_ / Israel.

The `LORD is merciful and / gra~ cious,

`slow to anger, and abundant in_ / loving kindness.

`He will not al / ways accuse;

`neither will he stay angry for / e~ ver.

`He has not_ dealt with us according / to our sins,

`nor repaid us for_ our in / iquities.

For `as the heavens are_ high a / bove the earth,

so `great_ is his loving kindness toward_ / those who fear him.

(Ref)

As `far_ as the east is / from the west,

so `far has he removed_ our transgressions / from~ us.

`Like a father has compassion / on his children,

`so the LORD_ has compassion on_ / those who fear him. +

`For he knows how / we are made.

`He remembers that_ / we are dust.

`As for man, his days are / like~ grass.

`As a flower of the field_, so he / flourishes.

`For the wind_ passes over it, and / it is gone.

Its `place remembers / it no more.

`But the loving kindness / of the LORD

`is from everlasting to_ everlasting with_ / those who fear him,

his `righteousness to / children’s children,

to `those who keep his / covenant, • • to `those_ who remember to o / bey his precepts.

(Ref)

The `LORD_ has established his_ throne_ / in the heavens.

His `kingdom rules_ / over all.

`Praise the LORD, you angels of his, who are mighty / in~ strength,

`who fulfill his word, obeying the voice / of his word.

`Praise the LORD_, all you / hosts of his,

you `servants of his, who_ / do his will.

`Praise the LORD_, all you / works of his, • `in all places of_ / his dominion.

`Praise the LORD_, / O my soul!
