The `LORD says to my Lord_, “Sit at / my right hand,

un `til I make your enemies a footstool / for your feet.”

The `LORD_ will extend your mighty scepter / out of Zion.

`Rule among your / enemies.

Your `people offer themselves willingly_ in the day_ / of your power, 

in `holy / ar~ ray.

`Out_ of the womb_ / of the morning, 

`you_ have the dew_ / of your youth.

The `LORD has sworn, and will not / change his mind:

“You `are a priest forever in the order of Mel / chizedek.”

The `Lord is at your / right~ hand.

`He will crush_ kings_ in the day_ / of his wrath.

`He will judge a / mong the nations.

`He will heap_ / up the dead. • • `He will crush the rulers of the / whole~ earth.

`He will drink_ from the brook_ / on the way;

`then he will lift up his / head in triumph.
