In My Distress (120)

In `my distress, I cried_ / to the LORD.
`He_ / answered me.
De `liver me_, LORD, from / lying lips,
`from_ a de / ceitful tongue.
`What_ will be given to you, and what will be / done to you,
`you de / ceitful tongue?
`Sharp_ arrows / of the mighty,
`with_ coals of / juniper.
`Woe is me, that I live / in Meshech,
`that I dwell among the tents_ / of Kedar!
`I have had my dwelling / too~ long
`with_ those who / hate~ peace. +
`I_ / am for peace,
but `when I speak, they / are for war.
