How `long_ will you hide your / face from me?

How `long shall I be anxious in my soul_, having sorrow in my heart_ / ev’ry day?

How `long_ shall my enemy_ triumph / over me?

`Look on me, and answer me_, / LORD, my God.

`Give light to my eyes_, lest I / sleep in death;

`lest my enemy_ say, “I have prevailed a / gainst~ him;”

`lest my adversaries re_ joice_ / when I fall.
