`I tell / him my troubles.
`When my spirit was_ overwhelmed with / in~ me,
`you_ / knew my way.
`On the path in / which I walk,
`they have hidden a_ / trap for me.
(Ref)
`Look_ on my right_, / and~ see;
for `there is no one who_ is con / cerned for me.
`Refuge has_ / fled from me.
`No one cares a / bout~ me.
I `cried to / you~, LORD.
I `said, “You / are my refuge, • my `portion in the land_ / of the living.”
`Listen / to my cry,
`for I am in / desp’rate need.
De `liver me_ from my / persecutors,
`for they are too / strong for me.
`Bring me out of prison, that I may give thanks_ / to your name.
