`I cry with my voice_ / to the LORD.

`With my voice, I ask the / LORD for mercy.

I `pour out my complaint be / fore~ him.

`I tell / him my troubles.

`When my spirit was_ overwhelmed with / in~ me,

`On the path in / which I walk, 

`they have hidden a_ / trap for me.

I `cried to / you~, LORD.

`for I am in / desp’rate need.

De `liver me_ from my / persecutors,

`for they are too / strong for me.
