`Hallelujah! Praise the LORD_, / O my soul.

`All my life_, I will / praise the LORD. 

`I will sing_ praises / to my God 

as `long as / I~ live.

`Do not put your / trust in princes,

`in a mere_ mortal in_ whom there / is no help.

His `spirit de_ parts, and he returns_ / to the earth.

`In that very day_, / his plans die.

The `LORD_ frees the / prisoners.
