`Halle / lu~ jah!

How `good it is sing_ praises / to our God;

How `pleasant and_ / fit~ ting 

to_ / praise~ him.

The `LORD builds up Je / rusalem.

`He gathers together the_ outcasts of_ / Israel.

He `heals the / brokenhearted,

and `binds_ / up their wounds.

He `counts the number / of the stars.

He `calls them all_ / by their names.

`Great_ is our Lord, and mighty / in~ power.

His `understanding is_ / infinite.

The `LORD up / holds the humble.

He `brings the wicked down_ / to the ground.

`Sing_ to the LORD_ / with thanksgiving.

Sing `praises on the harp_ / to our God,

who `covers the_ / sky with clouds, • • `who prepares_ rain_ / for the earth,

`who makes grass_ grow_ / on the mountains.

`He provides_ food_ / for the livestock,

and `for the young_ ravens / when they call.

`He does not delight_ in the strength_ / of the horse.

He `takes no pleasure in the legs_ of a / warrior.

The `LORD takes pleasure in_ those who / fear~ him,

in `those who hope in his_ / loving kindness.

`Praise the LORD, Je / rusalem!

`Praise your / God~, Zion!

For `he has strengthened the bars / of your gates.

`He has blessed your children / within you.

`He makes peace_ / in your borders.

He `fills you with the finest / of~ wheat.

He `sends out his commandment / to the earth.

His `word runs / very swiftly.

his `statutes and his just decrees to / Israel.

`He has not done this for any / other nation.
