Out of the Depths (130)

`Hear_, LORD, my / just~ cause.
`Give ear to my prayer that does not go out of de / ceitful lips.
`Let my vindication come out / of your presence.
`Let your eyes_ look on / equity.
`You have / proved my heart.
`You have visited me / in the night.
`You have tried me, / and found nothing.
I `have resolved that my mouth shall_ / not transgress.
(Ref)
As `for the works of / man~ kind,
`by the word of your lips, I have kept myself_ from the ways_ of the / violent.
My `steps have held fast / to your paths.
My `feet_ / have not slipped.
`I have called on you, for you will answer / me, O God.
`Turn your ear to me_. / Hear my words.
`Show your marvelous_ loving kindness, you who save by / your right hand
`those who take_ refuge in you from their / enemies.
`Keep me as the apple / of your eye.
`Hide me under the_ shadow / of your wings,
`from the wicked who op / press~ me,
my `deadly enemies_, who sur / round~ me.
(Ref)
`They close up their / callous hearts.
`With their mouth they speak_ / proud~ ly.
`They have now surrounded us_ / in our steps.
They `set their eyes to cast us down_ / to the ground.
`He is like a lion that is eager / to~ tear,
`like a young_ lion lurking in_ / am~ bush.
A `rise_, LORD, confront him. / Cast him down.
De `liver me_ from the wicked / by your sword,
from `people by your / hand~, LORD,
from `people of the world, whose portion is_ / in this life.
You `fill them with the riches / they desire.
Their `sons are satisfied_, and they leave their wealth_ / to their children. +
`As for me_, I shall see your face in / righteousness.
I `shall be satisfied, when I awake_, / with your presence.
