Psalm 19

The Heavens Declare (19)

The `hea_ vens declare the glory / of~ God.

`The expanse_ shows his / handiwork.

`Day_ after day they / pour out speech,

and `night_ after night_ they dis / play~ knowledge.

There `is no speech nor / lan~ guage

`where their voice_ / is not heard.

Their `voice has gone out through_ / all the earth,

their `words_ to the end_ / of the world.

(Ref)

`In them he has set a tent_ / for the sun,

`which is as a bridegroom coming out_ / of his room,

and `like a / champion,

`runs its / course with joy.

His `going out is from the end_ / of the heavens,

his `circuit / to its ends.

`There is nothing / hid~ den

`from_ / its~ heat.

The `law_ of the / LORD is perfect,

re `storing / the~ soul.

The `covenant_ of the / LORD is sure,

`making / wise the simple.

(Ref)

The `precepts of the / LORD are right,

re `joicing / the~ heart.

`The commandment of the / LORD is pure,

en `lighten / ing the eyes.

The `fear_ of the / LORD is pure,

en `dur_ / ing forever.

The `just decrees_ of the / LORD are true,

and `righteous / altogether.

`They are more to be desired_ / than~ gold,

`even an abundance of_ / pure~ gold,

`sweeter also / than~ honey

`and the drippings of the / honeycomb.

(Ref)

`Moreover your servant is_ / warned by them.

In `keeping them_ there is / great reward.

`Who_ can discern their / own~ errors?

For `give my / hidden faults.

Keep `back your servant also from_ / willful sins.

`Let them not_ have dominion / over me.

`Then I will be / up~ right.

I `will be blameless and_ innocent of / great transgression.

`Let the words_ / of my mouth

`and the meditation / of my heart

`be acceptable_ / in your sight,

`LORD, my rock, and / my redeemer.
