Psalm 30

The LORD Reigns (93)

`I_ will extol you, LORD, for you have / raised me up,

and `have not made my foes rejoice_ / over me.

`LORD my God, I / cried to you,

`and_ you have / healed~ me.

`LORD_, you have brought me up from / She~ ol.

`You have kept_ me alive, that I should not go down_ / to the pit.

Sing `praise_ to the LORD, you faithful / ones of his.

Give `thanks_ to his / holy name.

(Ref)

`For his anger is but / for a moment.

His `favor is_ for a / life~ time.

`Weeping may_ stay_ / for the night,

but `joy comes / in the morning.

`As for me, I said in my pros / perity,

`“I shall never / be~ moved.”

`You, LORD, when you favored me_, made my mountain / stand~ strong;

but `when you hid your face_, / I was troubled.

I `cried to / you~, LORD.

`I made supplication / to the Lord:

“What `profit is there in_ / my destruction,

`if I go down / to the pit?

(Ref)

`Shall the dust_ / praise~ you?

Shall `it declare your / faithfulness?

`Hear, LORD, and have mercy / on~ me.

`LORD_, / be my helper.”

`You have turned my mourning / into dancing.

`You_ have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with / glad~ ness,

`that my heart may sing_ praise to you, and / not be silent.

`LORD my God, I will give thanks to / you forever!
