Psalm 36

Out of the Depths (130)

A `revelation is within my heart about the sinfulness_ of the / wicked one:

There `is no fear of God be / fore his eyes.

`For he flatters him_ self in / his own eyes,

`too much to detect and / hate his sin.

The `words of his mouth are iniquity_ / and deceit.

`He has ceased_ to be wise and / do~ good.

He `plots iniquity_ / on his bed. • He `sets himself_ in a way that / is not good.

`He does not re / ject~ evil.

(Ref)

Your `loving kindness, LORD_, reaches / to the heavens.

Your `faithfulness_ reaches / to the skies.

Your `righteousness is like the / highest mountains. • Your `judgments are_ like a / great~ deep.

`LORD_, you preserve mankind and / animals.

How `precious is your loving kindness, / O~ God!

The `children of mankind take refuge under the_ shadow / of your wings.

They `feast on the abundance / of your house.

You `give them drink_ from the river of_ / your delights.

`For with you_ is the / spring of life.

In `your light we will / see~ light.

Con `tinue your_ loving kindness to_ those who / know~ you,

your `righteousness to the up / right in heart.

(Ref)

`Do not let the foot of pride_ come a / gainst~ me.

`Do not let the hand_ of the wicked drive_ / me away.

`See_ how the workers of iniquity are / fal~ len.

`They are thrust down, and_ / cannot rise.
