`You are the most excel / lent of men.
`Grace_ has anointed / your~ lips, • `therefore God has blessed_ / you forever.
`Strap your sword_ on your thigh, O / mighty one,
`in your splendor and your / majesty.
`In your majesty ride on vic / toriously • • `on behalf of truth, humility, and / righteousness.
Let `your right hand display_ / awesome deeds.

The `nations fall_ under you, with arrows in the heart of the king’s / enemies.
`Your divine_ throne_ is forever / and~ ever.
A `scepter of_ equity_ is the scepter / of your kingdom.
`You have loved_ / righteousness,
and `hated / wickedness.
`Therefore God, your God_, has a / nointed you
`with the oil of glad_ ness a / bove your fellows.
`All your garments smell like myrrh_, aloes, and_ / cassia.
`Out of iv’ry palaces stringed instruments have / made you glad.
`Kings’_ daughters are among your honorable / wo~ men.
At `your right hand the queen_ stands in gold_ / of Ophir.

The `princess in_ side_ is all / glorious.
Her `clothing is_ interwoven / with~ gold.
`She shall be led to the king_ in em / broidered work.
The `virgins, her companions who_ follow her_, shall be / brought to you.
With `gladness and rejoicing they_ / shall be led.
`They shall enter in_ to the palace / of the king.
