`God_ is our refuge / and~ strength,

a `very present help_ / in~ trouble.

`Therefore we will not_ be afraid_, though the / earth gives way,

`though the mountains are_ shaken into the heart / of the seas; +

`though its waters roar_ / and are troubled,

`though the mountains tremble / with their surging.

`There_ is a river whose_ streams make glad the city / of~ God,

the `holy place_ of the tents of / the Most High.

`God_ is within her. She shall / not be moved.

`God will help her / at~ dawn.
