Out of the Depths (130)

Give `ear_ to my / words~, LORD.
Con `sider my_ / meditation.
`Listen to the voice_ of my cry, my King_ / and my God,
`for I / pray to you.
`LORD_, in the morning you_ / hear my voice.
`In the morning I lay my requests before you, and_ watch ex / pectantly.
For `you are not a God_ who has pleasure in_ / wickedness.
`Evil cannot / live with you.
(Ref)
The `arrogant will not stand / in your sight.
You `hate all workers of in / iquity.
`You_ will destroy those / who speak lies.
The `LORD abhors the blood_ thirsty and de / ceitful one.
But `as for me, in the abundance of your / loving kindness • `I will come in / to your house.
`I will bow_ toward your holy temple in_ rev’rence / of~ you.
`Lead me, LORD_, in your righteousness because of my_ / enemies.
`Make your way_ straight be / fore my face.
`For there is no faithfulness_ / in their mouth.
Their `heart_ / is destruction.
Their `throat_ is an / open tomb.
They `flatter / with their tongue.
(Ref)
`Hold them guilty, / O~ God.
`Let them fall by / their own schemes.
`Thrust them out because of their_ many / trans~ gressions,
`for they have rebelled a / gainst~ you.
But `let all those who take refuge in you_ / re~ joice.
`Let them always shout for joy, because_ / you defend them.
`Let them also who_ / love your name
be `joyful / in~ you. +
For `you will / bless the righteous.
`LORD, you will surround them with_ favor as_ / with a shield.
