Psalm 52

Out of the Depths (130)

`Why do you_ boast of evil, you_ / mighty man?

`God’s_ loving kindness en_ dures_ / all the day.

`Your tongue / plots destruction,

`like a sharp_ razor, working de_ / ceitfully. +

`You love evil / more than good,

`lying rather than_ speaking / truthfully.

Selah.

`You_ love all words_  / that destroy,

`you de / ceitful tongue.

`God will like_ wise destroy_ / you forever.

`He will take you up, and pluck you out of / your~ tent, • and `root you out of the land / of the living.

Selah.

(Ref)

The `righteous will_ see it, / and~ fear,

and `laugh at him_, / say~ ing,

“Be `hold, this is the man who did not make_ / God his strength,

but `trusted in_ the abundance / of his riches, • • `and sought refuge in his / wickedness.”

But `as for me_, I am like a green_ olive tree_ in the / house of God.

I `trust in God’s_ loving kindness for_ ever / and~ ever.

`I will give you thanks forever, because / you have done it.

`I will hope_ in your name, for / it is good, • • `in the presence of your / faithful people.
