O `God, you / are my God.

`I will earnestly_ / seek~ you.

My `soul_ thirsts for you. My flesh_ / longs for you,

`in a dry and weary land_, where there / is no water.

So `I have looked upon you in the / sanctuary,

to `see your power / and your glory.

Be `cause your loving kindness is_ better / than~ life,

my `lips shall / praise~ you.

`I will lift my hands_ / in your name.

I `shall be satisfied as with the / richest food.

My `mouth shall praise you with_ / joyful lips.

When `I remember you_ / on my bed,

I `think of you_ in the / night~ watches.

For `you have / been my help.

`I_ will rejoice_ in the shadow / of your wings.

`I stay / close to you.

Your `right hand / holds me up.

But `those who seek my life_ to de / stroy~ it

shall `go into the depths_ / of the earth.
