Let `God arise!_ Let his enemies be / scat~ tered!

Let `them who hate him also flee be / fore~ him.

As `smoke is driven away, so drive / them away.

As `wax_ melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence / of~ God.

But `let the righteous / be~ glad.

`Let_ them rejoice be / fore~ God.

`Let_ them rejoice with / glad~ ness.

`Sing to God! Sing praises / to his name! +

Ex `tol_ him who rides_ / on the clouds.

The `LORD_ is his name! Rejoice be / fore~ him!

A `father of the fatherless_, and_ a defender / of~ widows,

is `God_ in his holy / habitation.

`God_ sets the lonely in_ / families. • • `He brings out the prisoners with / sing~ ing,

but `the rebellious dwell_ in a / sun-scorched land.

O `God, when you went out be / fore your people,

`when you marched_ through the / wilderness,

The `earth_ shook. The heavens poured down rain_ at the presence of the / God of Sinai,

`at the presence of_ God, the God of / Israel.

`You, O God_, sent a / bundant rain.

`You revived_ your inheritance when / it was weary.

Your `people / settled in it.

`You, O God, prepared your goodness / for the poor. +

The `Lord an / nounced the word. • The `ones_ who proclaim it are a great_ / company.

`“Kings of armies flee!_ / They~ flee!”

`while you sleep among the / camp~ fires,

The `LORD will dwell there for_ / e~ ver.

The `chariots of God are tens of thousands and_ thousands / of~ thousands.

The `Lord_ is among them, from_ Sinai, in the / sanctuary.

`You_ have ascended / on~ high.

`You have led away_ / cap~ tives.

`even among the rebellious, that the LORD God might_ / dwell~ there. 

`Bles-sed be the Lord, who daily / bears our burdens,

the `God_ who is / our salvation.

But `God will crush the head_ of his / enemies,

that `you may crush them, dipping your_ / foot in blood,

`that the tongues_ of your dogs may have their portion from your / enemies.”

`Sing to God, you kingdoms / of the earth!
