Hear Us, Shepherd (80)

O `God, do / not keep silent.
Do `not keep silent, and do not be / still, O God.
`For, behold, your enemies are / stirred~ up.
`Those who hate you have_ lifted / up their heads.
`They conspire with cunning a_ / gainst your people.
They `plot against your / cherished ones.
`“Come,” they say, “let us destroy them / as a nation,
`that the name of Israel may be remembered / no~ more.”
(Ref)
`For they have conspired together / with one mind.
`They form an alliance / against you.
The `tents of Edom and the Ishma / el~ ites;
`Moab, and the / Hag~ rites;
`Gebal, Ammon, and_ / Amalek;
Phil `istia_ with the people / of~ Tyre;
As `syria also is / joined with them.
`They have helped the children / of~ Lot.
Selah.
`Do to them_ as you did to / Midian,
as `to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river / Kish~ on;
who `perished at_ / En~ dor,
`who became as dung_ / for the earth.
(Ref)
`Make their nobles like_ Oreb / and~ Zeeb,
`all their princes like Zebah and / Zalmunna,
`who said, “Let us / take possession
`of the pasture / lands of God.”
My `God, make them like / tumbleweed,
like `chaff be / fore the wind.
`As the fire that / burns the forest,
`as the flame that sets the mountains / a~ blaze,
`so pursue them / with your tempest,
and `terrify them / with your storm.
`Fill their faces / with confusion,
that `they may seek your / name~, LORD.
(Ref)
Let `them be put to shame_ and dis / mayed forever.
`Let them perish / in disgrace;
that `they may know that you alone, whose name_ / is the LORD,
`are the Most High over / all the earth.
