`I will give thanks to the LORD_ with my / whole~ heart.
`I will tell of all your / marv’lous works.
`I will be glad and re / joice in you.
`I will sing_ praise_ to your name_, / O Most High.
`When my enemies_ / turn~ back,
they `stumble and_ perish / in your presence.
For `you have main_ tained my / just~ cause.
`You sit on the throne_ judging / righteously.

`You_ have rebuked the / na~ tions. • `You_ have de / stroyed the wicked.
`You have blotted out their name forever / and~ ever.
The `enemy is overtaken by_ / endless ruin.
The `very memory_ of the cities which_ you have overthrown has / per~ ished.
`But the LORD_ / reigns forever.
`He_ has prepared his / throne for judgment.
`He will judge the world in / righteousness.
`He_ will administer_ judgment to the peoples in_ / uprightness.
The `LORD will also be a refuge for_ / the oppressed;
a `refuge in_ / times of trouble.
`Those who know your name will put their / trust in you,
for `you_, LORD, have not forsaken those who / seek~ you.

Sing `praises to the LORD, who / dwells in Zion,
`and declare among the people what_ / he has done.
For `he_ who avenges blood re / members them.
`He does not forget the cry of / the afflicted.
Have `mercy / on me, LORD. • `See_ my affliction by_ those who / hate~ me,
and `lift me up_ from the / gates of death,
that `I may show all / of your praise.
`I_ will rejoice in your salvation in the gates_ of the daughter / of~ Zion.
The `nations have sunk down_ in the pit that / they~ made.
`In the net which they hid, their own / foot is caught.
The `LORD has made himself known by his / acts of justice.
The `wicked is_ snared_ by the work of / his own hands.

`For the needy shall not always / be forgotten,

A `rise_, LORD!_ Do not let mere humans / pre~ vail.
`Let the nations be_ judged be / fore~ you.
`Put them in_ / fear~, LORD.
`Let the nations know that they are / mere~ mortals.
