The Heavens Declare (19)

`He who dwells_ in the secret place of / the Most High
will `rest_ in the shadow of the / Al~ mighty.
`I will say_ of the LORD, “He is my refuge / and my fortress;
my `God, in / whom I trust.”
`For he will deliver you_ from the snare_ / of the fowler,
and `from the deadly / pestilence.
`He will cover you_ / with his feathers. • `Under his_ wings you / will take refuge.
His `faithfulness_ is your / shield and rampart.
(Ref)
You `shall not be afraid_ of the terror / by~ night,
nor `of the arrow that_ / flies by day,
nor `of the pestilence that / walks in darkness,
`nor of the destruction that_ wastes at / noon~ day.
A `thousand may fall at your side_, and ten thousand at your / right~ hand;
but `it will not come / near~ you.
`You will only look_ / with your eyes,
and `see the recompense_ / of the wicked.
Be `cause_ you have made the / LORD your refuge,
`and the Most_ High your / dwelling place,
no `evil shall_ happen / to~ you,
`neither shall_ any plague come / near your dwelling.
(Ref)
For `he will put his angels in_ / charge of you,
to `guard you in_ / all your ways.
`They will bear you up_ / in their hands,
`so that you will not_ dash your foot a / gainst a stone.
`You will tread_ on the lion / and~ cobra.
`You will trample the young lion and the serpent / underfoot.
“Be `cause_ he has set his / love on me, • `therefore I_ will de / liver him.
`I will set_ him on high, because he has_ / known my name.
`He will call on me, and I will / answer him.
`I will be with / him in trouble. • • `I_ will deliver him, and / honor him.
`I will satisfy_ him with / long~ life,
and `show him / my salvation.”
