The Heavens Declare (19)

`It is a good thing_ to give thanks_ / to the LORD,
to `sing_ praises to your name_, / Most~ High,
`to proclaim your loving kindness / in the morning,
`and your faithfulness_ / ev’ry night,
`with the ten-stringed lute_, / with the harp,
and `with the melody_ / of the lyre.
For `you_, LORD, have made me glad_ / through your work.
`I will sing for joy_ at the works_ / of your hands.
(Ref)
How `great_ are your / works~, LORD!
Your `thoughts are / very deep.
A `senseless person / does not know,
`neither does a fool_ under / stand~ this:
`though the wicked spring up / as the grass,
and `all the evil / doers flourish,
`they will be de / stroyed forever.
But `you, LORD, are on high for / ever more.
`Surely your_ enemies, LORD, surely your_ ene / mies shall perish.
`All the evildoers / will be scattered.
But `you_ have exalted my horn like that of the / wild ox.
`I_ am anointed / with fresh oil. +
My `eye has also seen my / enemies.
My `ears have heard_ of the wicked enemies who rise_ / up against me.
(Ref)
The `righteous shall_ flourish like the / palm~ tree.
`They will grow_ like a cedar in_ / Lebanon.
`They are planted in the house_ / of the LORD.
`They will flourish in the courts_ / of our God.
`They will still bear fruit in / old~ age.
`They will be_ full of / sap and green,
`to declare_ that the / LORD is upright.
`He_ is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness_ / in~ him.
